NEW YORK CITY (NewsNation Now) — American ballet star Misty Copeland has written a children’s book on the struggles of being a dancer.
She says ‘Bunheads‘ is written for kids interested in dancing.
Copeland is the first Black woman to become a principal dancer at the American Ballet Theatre.
The ballerina said she was inspired to write the book to make the dance industry more inclusive.
