Watch: Trump records message before going to Walter Reed for treatment

WASHINGTON (NewsNation Now) — Seventeen hours after his last tweet announcing that both he and the first lady are positive for COVID-19, President Trump released a video thanking well wishers.

“I’m going to Walter Reed hospital,” Trump said. “I think I’m doing very well.”

Trump said first lady Melania is doing “very well.”

On Friday afternoon, Dr. Sean P. Conley, the physician to the president, said “the President remains fatigued but in good spirits.”

Before he traveled to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Trump received a received a single 8 gram dose of Regeneron’s investigational antibody cocktail, Dr. Conley said, “as a precautionary measure,” in addition to zinc, vitamin D, famotidine, melatonin and a daily aspirin.
