Firefighters battle massive blaze at Ohio factory


MALVERN, Ohio (NewsNation Now) — Firefighters are battling a massive blaze at an Ohio factory that closed schools due to smoke concerns.

The fire broke out early Tuesday at AAM Metal Forming/Colfor Manufactuirng in Malvern, NewsNation affiliate WJW reported.

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office told WJW that there are no reports of injuries at this time. The cause of the fire also remains unknown.

A school district in Carroll County, Brown Local Schools, cancelled classes Tuesday due to concerns over smoke and traffic from the fire.

AAM is an automotive supplier headquartered in Detroit, Michigan. The company employs more than 21,000 people at nearly 80 facilities in 17 countries, according to their website.
