HOLYOKE, Mass. (NewsNation Now) — Authorities outside Springfield, Massachusetts arrested a man after they allegedly found pipe bombs inside his home.
Police in Holyoke said the 29-year-old suspect’s father and a neighbor found the devices Tuesday night, prompting an evacuation.
Gregory Bennett was charged with four counts of possession of an explosive device, NewsNation affiliate WWLP reported.
A bomb squad eventually rendered the devices safe. Local, state and federal law enforcement agencies are investigating.
