Two hospitalized after plane crash in Texas

RUSK COUNTY, Texas (NewsNation Now) – Two occupants on an aircraft near Rusk County Airport were transported to a local hospital Saturday after a small plane crash.

The crash happened around 4:00 p.m. (ET). The pilot and the passenger had minor injuries.

NewsNation affiliate KETK reports the airplane lost power just after take-off from the airport and crashed into the tree line.

The Rusk County Office of Emergency Management responded to the incident. The FAA have been notified and are responding.
