Colorado fentanyl deaths showcase challenge for prosecutors

(NewsNation) — In February, five Coloradans living in an apartment together ingested cocaine that contained fentanyl, leading to their deaths. Local District Attorney Brian Mason looked into the case for months, seeing if he could file charges related to their deaths. Ultimately, he was unable to put together a case. He joined “NewsNation Prime” to discuss the challenge of prosecuting these kinds of cases.
