Maine lobstermen say they have no choice but to sue over “defamation” by Seafood Watch. At issue is the designation by Seafood Watch that labels ocean species and fishing industries based on their sustainability levels and practices. They say lobstermen put certain whales at risk. There is a stand-off between the Pentagon and Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.), who is single-handedly blocking the promotion of about 160 military officers from going forward.
