Mexican drug cartels arrive in Montana | CUOMO
Mexican cartels are trafficking drugs in Montana, over 1,000 miles from the U.S.-Mexico border. Officials say three known associates of the Sinaloa cartel, once run by Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman, were arrested in Butte last December.
Gov. Greg Gianforte says the problem will only get worse unless the southern border is secured. “It’s ripping families apart, making our communities unsafe,” he said. “There isn’t a single community in the state of Montana that is not impacted by our porous border.”
