Sister of overdose victim working to save others’ lives | CUOMO
Fentanyl is killing tens of thousands of people every year and has made its way onto college campuses, into nightclubs and house parties. Four years ago, singer/songwriter Kalie Shorr’s 37-year-old sister Ashley died from an accidental fentanyl overdose. She was a mom to two young children. Now, Shorr is trying to prevent more deaths by handing out fentanyl test strips at clubs, parties and anywhere else she thinks people could be using recreational drugs so they can make sure they are fentanyl-free. #fentanyl #drugs #overdoses
