An investigation into the background of Lori Vallow Daybell, who has pleaded not guilty to murder and other charges related to the deaths of two of her children, has revealed a string of deaths of people close to Vallow Daybell. 

There is a stand-off between the Pentagon and Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-Ala.), who is single-handedly blocking the promotion of about 160 military officers from going forward. He's doing so because he objects to the military's new abortion policy that would cover travel costs for anyone stationed at a base in a state with new abortion restrictions who wants to get an abortion.
