Subway bread isn’t bread, Irish court says

Ireland’s Supreme Court has ruled that bread sold by the fast food chain Subway contains so much sugar that it cannot be legally defined as bread.

🔴 Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar is testifying before a House committee on the coronavirus pandemic Friday at 9 a.m. ET.

🔴 Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden is campaigning in Michigan Friday. He’s slated to speak in Grand Rapids at around 1:20 p.m. ET. His running mate, Sen. Kamala Harris, will be campaigning in Nevada.

🔴 Pres. Trump is hosting a phone call on coronavirus support to vulnerable seniors at 12:15 p.m. ET. He was previously scheduled to campaign in Florida Friday, but the event has since been cancelled after the president tested positive for COVID-19.
