Airline crews report jetpack flier near Los Angeles airport

The Federal Aviation Administration and the FBI said Tuesday they are investigating reports from airline pilots that someone was flying in a jetpack as they approached Los Angeles International Airport to land last weekend.

“Two airline flight crews reported seeing what appeared to be someone in a jetpack as they were on their final approaches to LAX around 6:35 p.m. PDT Sunday,” the FAA said.

📅 What to watch for today

🔴 A ceremony will be held in Hawaii to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the end of WWII. The event begins at 8:30 a.m. (HST).

🔴 President Donald Trump will be heading to North Carolina this afternoon for an event marking the end of WWII as well. His Democratic rival Joe Biden has no public events scheduled, as of Wednesday morning.
